Removed individuals 5/6/08 Duke
9 yr old Choc Lab-neutered male with soft, dreamy eyes. He has a nice build, big
chest & red highlights. He prefers to hang around older, male dogs as his
buddies. He is an avid swimmer, fetches balls in the water but leaves them at
the shoreline. Duke is a good watchdog as he barks at things he does not know.
He likes to walk at any opportunity but does not like loud, abrasive noises. He
is very devoted and likes to follow you around the house instead of being alone.
I am looking for a family or buddy who can love and care for him, providing back
the same devotion he will give you. He needs to stay on leash when walking as he
still likes to visit others more than listen. Duke is a sweet dog that needs a
good home as soon as possible. He is currently located in Fremont. To discuss
adoption pls call 510-657-7105 msg.

![]() removed individuals 5/6/08 Baba is a two and a half year old black male. He was the owner's granddaughter's dog since he was eight weeks old, but they had to move into an apartment. He has been loved and been a loving companion. He is inside during the evening and free to go in and out during the day. He has a great energetic personality and a substantial amount of manners. In fact, you might have to teach him how to bark as he is quite quiet, respectful and affectionate. He is extremely smart and focused and walks pretty well on leash. And when he is off leash, he is very good at coming when called. He is neutered and up-to-date with his shots. He would do very well with an active family and an experienced dog owner. He does not chase cats and gets along well with other dogs. Please call on this special guy, he needs a new home for spring; (707) 489-6444 or (707)743-1624 , and ask for Carol. SPAYED CHOCOLATE FEMALE 1.5
YEARS OLD 65-70 LBS. PUREBRED BO INTACT BLACK MALE 1.5
YEARS OLD 65-70 LBS. PUREBRED Bo, the intact male purebred 1.5 years old and is 65-70
pounds and will need to be neutered and Aysha, the 1.5 year old female
was spayed
after she had a litter of puppies. They need a new home as their
owner is no longer able to give them the care they need. They have been
outside dogs, but as adult dogs they should be easy to housebreak
and become indoor pets and part of the family. The owner says they are
very smart, and well trained and listen to commands as sit, stay and
fetch. They are very friendly, great around children as well as other
dogs and ok with cats and ride well in the car. They are healthy and up
to date on their shots. It is preferable that they are adopted together
as they have always been together. They
are located in Antioch and can be seen there. The owner can be reached
at 925-956-2351 to set up an appointment. Also his e-mail is i_am_source2003@yahoo.com.

The overwhelming majority of dogs sold on internet sites, at pets stores in
malls and in many newspaper ads come from
puppy mills.
Thousands of puppymills exist throughout the U.S. keeping their dogs in shocking
conditions. Your purchase of a puppy over the internet helps keep them in
business abusing animals.
Please visit your local animal shelter.

Hello we are
Betsy Ross (left) and Abigail Adams. (right) We
are 1 and 1/2 year old spayed female purebred Chocolate Labs. We are
sisters. We are easy going, house trained and have lived with children. We
like other dogs and are well adjusted, easy going Labs. Our family moved
and could not take us, so we are now living in the Ukiah shelter. We do
understand that we may have to be adopted separately, but if someone could
open their heart and home to both of us that would be so wonderful. Please
consider coming to meet us by calling our friend sage at 707-467-6453 or
email her at

"SINGLE BLACK FEMALE seeks male
companionship - ethnicity unimportant.
I'm a very good girl who LOVES to play. I
love long walks in the woods, riding in your
pickup truck, hunting, camping and fishing
trips, cozy winter nights lying by the fire.
Candlelight dinners will have me eating out
of your hand. I'll be at the front door when
you get home from work, wearing only what
nature gave me. Call (916) 875-5232
and
ask for Lola I'll be waiting . "
To be posted VERY LOW on the refrigerator door - nose height.Dear Dogs and Cats,
The dishes with the paw prints are yours and contain your food. The
other dishes are mine and contain my food. Please note, placing a paw
print in the middle of my plate of food does not stake a claim for it
becoming your food and dish, nor do I find that aesthetically pleasing
in the slightest. The stairway was not designed by NASCAR and is not a racetrack.
Beating me to the bottom is not the object. Tripping me doesn't help
because I fall faster than you can run.I cannot buy anything bigger than a king sized bed. I am very sorry
about this. Do not think I will continue sleeping on the couch to
ensure your comfort. Dogs and cats can actually curl up in a ball when
they sleep. It is not necessary to sleep perpendicular to each other
stretched out to the fullest extent possible. I also know that
sticking tails straight out and having tongues hanging out the other end
to maximize space is nothing but sarcasm. For the last time, there is not a secret exit from the bathroom. If by
some miracle I beat you there and manage to get the door shut, it is not
necessary to claw, whine, meow, try to turn the knob or get your paw
under the edge and try to pull the door open. I must exit through the
same door I entered. Also, I have been using the bathroom for years
--canine or feline attendance is not mandatory. The proper order is kiss me, then go smell the other dog or cat's butt. I cannot stress this enough!
To pacify you, my dear pets, I have posted the following message on our front door:
To All Non-Pet Owners Who Visit & Like to Complain About Our Pets
1. They live here. You don 't.
2. If you don't want their hair on your clothes, stay off the furniture.
(That's why they call it "fur"niture.)
3. I like my pets a lot better than I like most people.
4. To you, it's an animal. To me, he/she is an adopted son/daughter who
is short, hairy, walks on all fours and doesn't speak clearly.Remember: Dogs and cats are better than kids because they:
1. Eat less
2. Don't ask for money all the time
3 Are easier to train
4. Usually come when called
5. Never drive your car
6. Don't hang out with drug-using friends
7. Don't smoke or drink
8. Don't worry about having to buy the latest fashions
9. Don't wear your clothes
10. Don't need a gazillion dollars for college, and
11. If they get pregnant, you can sell their children
